PINTEREST INTRODUCES BUYABLE PINS!

How many times have you asked yourself while scrolling through Pinterest “I wish I could buy that?" Pinterest has recently introduced its “Buy It” button which allows the user to purchase products straight from Pinterest itself. This feature is only be available for official brand pages and products.

To start, the “Buy It” button was released on the Pinterest app for your iPhone and iPad. It will be available for Android and desktops in future releases. And yes, if you were wondering, you will be able to use Apple Pay to buy a product on Pinterest.

So how does it all work?

Buyable pins are marked with a blue “Buy It” button on the top right-hand corner of the pin next to the “Pin It” button.  If you are searching for a specific item you can search products and filter your results down by color and price range.

When you do find the item you want to buy, you can preview in different colors and select the one you would like to purchase. When you’re done and ready to check out, you can tap “Buy It” and pay with Apple Pay or a Credit Card. What’s even better, once you enter your personal information, you’ll never have to enter it again as Pinterest will store it for you.

Pinterest says 2 million products will become immediately buyable by Buyable Pins. From clothing to furniture to backpacks and more, this sounds like shopping heaven for many!
